The Ronald McDonald Fourth of July No Show Ball was a great success. Thank you all for taking the time to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois and our temporary "home away from home" for families who are staying in Springfield because their child is hospitalized. Your support helps us provide a secure, comfortable environment for families facing difficult times. Because of your generosity we are able to reduce their stress, take away some of the financial burden of being far away from home for an extended period of time (saving gasoline money by not having to drive back and forth and not incurring expenses for a hotel or food) and provide a network of support with the other families staying at the Ronald McDonald House who are facing similar situations.
